Need your participation – Transportation Infrastructure Conference

S&T is an influential partner in transportation infrastructure areas and as you know it is one of the four Best-In-Class strategic thrusts for research. But it appears our interest in participation – as faculty and staff – is waning.  Reference this note from Kamal Khayat and then, if possible, please register to join him for this event in St Louis December 4th.

Hello Faculty,

I am writing to strongly encourage you and your graduate students to register for the 2015 Transportation Infrastructure Conference that will take place at the St. Louis University campus on Friday Dec. 4, 2015 in partnership with the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Conference website:

As the fourth year of this event, we invite you to come hear about our cutting edge research and field implementation projects in transportation infrastructure engineering. This year’s conference will showcase recent findings in the areas of advanced construction materials, non-destructive testing and structural health monitoring of transportation infrastructure. I have attached this year’s program with more details.

This year will also feature a student poster competition.  If your students register and sign up for the poster competition, Abbie will send them further details.

A summary of the attendee statistics from previous years are below.  As you can see, the composition of attendees from Missouri S&T is less than in previous years and we hope to bring that number up so S&T will be a prominent presence at this event.
