Important dates:

Due date for Pre-applications:                   10-Sep-2015, 5 PM Eastern Time

Encourage/Discourage Decisions:             8-Oct-2015, 5 PM Eastern Time

Due date for Proposals:                              19-Nov-2015, 5 PM Eastern Time

New this year is a requirement for data management plans; proposals without the plan will be declined.

Please feel free to distribute this across your campus. Good luck to your applicants.

RMERC Diane Henke Retirement Party

Diane Henke is retiring, after 30+ years with Missouri University of Science and Technology and the Rock Mechanics and Explosives Research Center (RMERC) !!! 

We will be holding a retirement reception for her on Friday, August 14th 2015 from 1pm to 3pm in the RMERC Conference Room.    (speeches and cake-cutting and gift by 1:15,  but slide show will run continuously,  food and drink will be available, and Diane will be  on hand to reminisce with you until 3pm. )

Department of Energy Issues Draft FY 2016 Technical Workscopes for the Consolidated Innovative Nuclear Research FOA
August 4, 2015

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy today released draft technical workscopes in support of the upcoming Consolidated Innovative Nuclear Research FOA. The workscopes will be discussed in detail at the FY 2016 DOE-NE Informational Webinar on August 10-12, 2015.

Workscopes are in draft format and are subject to change until the final FOA is announced.

DRAFT FY 2016 Technical Workscopes (Appendix A-C)

The Letters of Intent supporting NSUF applications are anticipated to be due August 27, 2015, and pre-applications for workscopes requiring them are anticipated to be due September 17, 2015.

An informational webinar will be held on August 10-12, 2015. Presentations and recordings will be available after the webinar.
