Distinguished Campus Seminar by Curators’ Professor Lynda F. Bonewald on Thursday, May 7, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Planje Auditorium (204 McNutt Hall)

Description: The Center for Biomedical Science and Engineering (CBSE) is sponsoring a distinguished campus seminar by Dr. Lynda F. Bonewald, Curators’ Professor of Dental and Craniofacial Sciences and Endowed Professor of Dental and Mineralized Tissue, University of Missouri – Kansas City. The seminar titled “Generation of a Novel Bone Cement to Fight Bone Infection” will be held in the Planje Auditorium (Rm. 204 McNutt Hall) at 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 7th. One of the world’s leading experts in bone biology and mineralized tissue, Prof. Bonewald is Vice Chancellor for Translational and Clinical Research at UMKC and has served as President of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research.

The title of the seminar is “Bone Regeneration Using Tissue Engineering Approaches”. Faculty, staff and students are invited.
